American Kennel Club. You can only register your puppies with the AKC if the parents are AKC registered. They dna test each father after his 5th litter of puppies. His DNA is kept on file. This is the top registry for puppis and dogs. When you get a AKC reg dog your getting a purebreed dog. Please check and buy from good breeders.

Continental kennel club is another good club to register your puppies with it is a little less expensive than AKC, But here are the differences you can register a puppy with them after 6 months old and with only a picture. I have some of my little ones registered with this company however they can be registered with the AKC I just have not done so, all my puppies are akc reg and ckc reg for your convience.
Lets just say the standards are even less with this company to register your puppies

The standards for obtaining papers for your pets are less than I think they should be, pictures and you can write in for papers on your dogs, no proof of purebreed.

My first Chihuahua I every bought was registered with the ACA, He is 18lbs and I always thought he was a min pin. My husband bought him from a pet store for me as a gift. I called and questioned the breeder about what type of dogs she breeds cause I thought he looked like a min pin and sure enough she breeds min pin's This registry you need no proof of purebreed to get papers. When I called the breeder she asured my that he might just be a little big for a chihuahua and I was like could you send me pics of her parents and she didnt even know who they were when I read the off the paperwork. She was from OAKLAHOMA.....
